To make sure that SMF mentoring is safe and secure for everyone, some messages will be held for moderation before they are passed on to your mentoring partner.
| How does moderation work?Posts are checked automatically for offensive language, contact details and other content that might affect the safety of mentors and mentees. Any flagged messages will be checked by your coordinator before your mentoring partner sees them. |
| What if my coordinator doesn't check my messages quickly enough?Your coordinator will moderate posts as quickly as possible, but if a message has gone unmoderated for a week or longer it will be looked at by BrightsideUNIAID. If your message is more than a week old and still hasn't been moderated, there may be a fault in the system. Get in touch on support@brightsideuniaid.org to let us know about it. |
